Fused Glass & Mosaic Courses
Description
In this workshop you will have 4 glass panels to decorate with bullseye glass and inclusions. The design and colour choice is yours but there is plenty help on hand! The four panels are then fused up to 760 degrees centigrade and then assembled for you to collect. The workshop does not involve cutting so is suitable for all ages.

These workshops will be arranged individually or as a family on request.
you are invited to bring some ashes from your loved one or loyal pet who has passed away. You will be able to make your own piece of fused glass with some ashes embedded into it.
This will give you a timeless piece, created by you, at a time that suits you. Feel free to come as an individual or as a family. You will have a quiet dedicated space to create something everlasting with guidance and help by Diane.
You can choose between a small t-light or sun catcher , or perhaps a lantern, night light , or garden ornament. This can be discussed at booking.
your piece will then be fused in the kiln to be collected approximately a week later ( times vary) . If you prefer Diane to make the piece for you then please discuss this.
Description
You will design and decorate a 20cm circular sun catcher which has been pre leaded. You can use an array of multicoloured stained glass, cabochons, and beads to design the suncatcher. You will learn how to cut and shape glass in this workshop. Once the pieces are stuck down you will be given grout and instructions to grout the piece at home once the adhesive is dry. We can grout it for you but this would mean you would need to return to collect it.

Description
On this workshop you can design and make a landscape, pattern, or image using Bullseye Glass, inclusions, paints etc. The piece will then be fired twice to fuse and then to shape the glass into a wave or curve as requested.

If you have always wanted to learn how to make a fused glass dichroic jewellery now's your chance with this beginner-friendly workshop in Garstang
Guided by Diane you will design and make a fused glass pendant .
You will have the opportunity to use coloured and Dichroic glass to custom your piece before firing to create a stunning, long-lasting piece of art jewellery.
This course is suitable for all levels of experience and you will also learn how to cut delicate pieces of glass.
Your item will need to be fired in the kiln in order to complete the fusing process. If you are local, it will be ready to pick up in approximately 7 days.
If you have come from further afield and wish your item to be sent then there will be a small postage charge.

This workshop provides all the materials, tuition, and help to design and make your own piece of fused glass for your garden. This will be in the form of a 30cm circle to decorate with Bullseye glass to produce a colourful, eye catching piece of art for your garden. You will be guided through the types and colours of glass you can use to enhance your work Your piece will then be fired in a kiln to be collected at a later date. If necessary it can be posted at a small additional cost. Included in the price is a 5ft black hand made iron stand that allows you to display your piece safely in the garden all year round Alternatively, hooks can be added to allow the piece to be hung instead.

Description
Fancy a weekend or a night away in the week learning about glass fusing? Sounds like fun? Then look at this 2-day course which covers all the basics and many glass fusing techniques. Might be useful to make Christmas or Birthday gifts? Garden ornaments? Or pieces for your home. You will learn about types of glass, cutting glass, inclusions, glass paints, enamels, slumping, kiln forming, and much more. You will make several items to keep or give as gifts. These will be available in 7-10 days after fusing but could be posted for a small fee. Accommodation may be available locally in a lodge on an adjacent Marina (extra cost of £85pp) Or you can find an Air BnB or local hotel. If however, you have a camper van, caravan, or boat then you could look into staying at the Marina where the course is :)

Description
This is the perfect beginners fused glass Craft Class for all ages, families, colleagues, corporate events, or individuals to make a lovely gift. You will design a tea lights using Bullseye glass and lots of colourful inclusions. and then the specialised kiln will work its magic over night.
Pieces will be available to collect later with a glass tea light holder attached.

Christmas Craft Workshops
Description
You will decorate the four glass panels in a metal lantern which can be black or white in colour. You will be taught about the different types of glass and inclusions to decorate the glass eg frit, stringers, glass beads etc. The pieces will then be fused in a specialised kiln to be collected a few days later. No previous experience is required. Suitable for aged 9

Description
This workshop provides the materials and guidance to make your own 2 layer rag wreath to hang at home or give as a gift. Rag wreathing is a simple and relaxing craft but the results are stunning. You will have a wreath in the colours you choose to display for years to come. Seasonal refreshments will be provided and the gift shop will be open to view potential gifs for friends and loved ones.

Description
In this workshop you will create a stunning fused glass snowflake to hang in your home. You will learn to cut glass and the basics of glass fusing if you have never done this craft before. If you are confident cutting glass then it may be possible to make 2 snowflakes for an additional £5. You can use clear or coloured glass and add elements of dichroic glass if you would like to. Your work will be kiln fused after the class and will be ready to collect within 2 weeks.

Get together with friends or family to decorate your very own tree decorations. You will have 3 trees to decorate using all sorts of glass and inclusions. If you would like to make 6 trees then please book two sessions and message me . No experience is required. Suitable for all levels and from aged 7-107! Your work will then be fused in a specialised kiln for collection a few days or later (depending on group sizes)

Ever admired silk painting but thought it was beyond you then this is the workshop for you. You will make 5 cards/ pictures using a variety of silk paints on pre guttad patterns to allow you to concentrate on the paints and how they flow on the silk.

Description
This exciting workshop teaches you how to create a steampunk or gothic piece of art to decorate either a canvas or notebook cover. You can bring your own item to decorate if you prefer. In the class we shall use acrylic paint, texture paste, stencils, metal and wooden pieces, recycled jewellery and much much more to create a unique piece. You will also use gilding waxes to produce metallic effects. Basically, this is about having fun, being over the top, and anything goes !

Learn about traditional Roses and Castes Canal Art from Lynda Brookhouse who has done some stunning pieces.
